Scaling Scrum

Table of contents

Scaling Scrum refers to expanding Scrum so that multiple Scrum Teams can collaborate smoothly. The Scrum framework says little about collaborating with other Scrum Teams, only that Scrum is intended for a team of up to 10 people.

Therefore additional frameworks such as Nexus or LeSS have been developed. These frameworks build on Scrum and add elements to manage complexity and communication in a multi-team environment. These frameworks aim to minimize dependencies between teams. In addition, they assist in solving problems with collaboration and integration.

Note: Scaling Scrum is done with an additional framework when working with multiple Scrum Teams on a single product.
